Heidi Loof Wins December's "Living The Mission" Award

The December "Living the Mission" award recipient is Heidi Loof!

This monthly peer-nominated award goes to an employee who has demonstrated above-and-beyond dedication, care, and compassion to people supported, their families, and to DA staff. Each person truly reflects our core values and our mission that states, "Together, we create a warm and welcoming community enriching the lives of those we support."

December nominees are: Katy Michaud, Ebony Shanklin, Heidi Loof, Linzie Stratmoen, Shelly Eaglehorse, Billie Kester, Cambree McNeil, Sydney Schmidt, Kelly Breen, Lily Nelson, and Barbara Martinez.

Heidi's nominator had this to say about her passion for her work and her open-door management style:

"Heidi is amazing at her job. She provides excellent support for the Residential Manager team and is always there to help when needed. Heidi does an amazing job of ensuring her team feels fully empowered, which leads to each home having a team feeling empowered. Every thought, idea, and action that Heidi does is motivated by her drive to ensure that each and every person supported is living their best life. An example of this is how much work and passion Heidi showed to accomplish the goal of "no more shared bedrooms." What a goal to achieve. Heidi's ambition to provide the absolute best possible life for everyone supported and employed by DA is inspiring."
